Is holistic cancer support a replacement for medical or psychological treatment?
No way. The approaches I offer are a complementary support that is designed to work alongside your medical care.
I'm a carer of someone with cancer. Is this right for me?
Absolutely. This approach is especially helpful for caregivers. In fact caregivers need the most support as they are often experiencing the greatest stress and overwhelm in the cancer experience.
Do I have to talk about my cancer experience again?
No you do not. I get it. Repeating your story to multiple healthcare providers is exhausting. I need to be able to understand what you need, but sessions are designed to be gentle and do not require reliving distressing experiences.
Do I need to have experienced trauma for somatic therapy to work?
No. Somatic therapy is helpful for anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, or emotional overwhelm—not just trauma. It supports your overall nervous system health and emotional wellbeing.
Can this help with my anxiety related to cancer?
Absolutely. Many people find an integrative holistic (mind-body) approach very helpful in reducing emotional overwhelm, anxiety and in crafting a quality life through and beyond cancer.
