Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of support do you offer for stress, grief, and cancer?
I offer one-on-one support for people experiencing stress, burnout, grief, or the emotional impact of cancer (patient, survivor or a carer). Sessions integrate evidence-informed approaches like EFT tapping, Matrix Reimprinting, and somatic practices to help calm your nervous system, process overwhelming emotions, and support you to feel more grounded and resilient.
How do I know if this support is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck and unable to think clearly, this is a good place to start. You don’t need to have everything figured out.
A free 15-minute consultation gives you the opportunity to ask me questions, understand the approach, and see if it feels like the right fit for you.
How is your approach different from traditional talk therapy?
Traditional therapy often focuses on talking through your thoughts and experiences. As stress, grief, and trauma live in the body and nervous system, my approach integrates body-based techniques, so you’re not just understanding what you’re going through, you’re helping your system feel safe enough to process insights you may have and shift them safely.
Do you work with healthcare of corporate professionals?
Absolutely. Healthcare and corporate professionals are not immune from stress. In face, frontline workers are at greater risk of burnout due to chronic stress and vicarious trauma while high performing individuals are often carrying pressure (from their environments and perceptions about self) that can lead to chronic stress & burnout. In any environment, knowing how to optimize your stress resilience is key.
Do I need to be in Bass Coast or Melbourne to work with you?
No. While I offer in-person sessions in Melbourne and Bass Coast, I also work with clients across Australia and internationally via Zoom.

Online sessions are just as effective and allow you to access support from the comfort of your own space.
What does being a clinical social worker or clinical counsellor mean?
It means I've gained specialized knowledge & experience in working with people experiencing mental health challenges, trauma and emotional wellbeing challenges with a focus on improving emotional health and wellbeing.

The most important thing in any supportive and therapeutic support, is that you feel safe and comfortable with the person supporting you.
Sometimes a free 15 min consult can help you know if I might be the right fit for you.
